Port Orleans Riverside questions

Leaving for POR in two days. Haven't been to DW in 28 years. Have a few questions:

1. The web site says you have to bring your own pool towels. I've been told by someone they are provided. Which is it? Also, if I need a towel to take into the DW water park, can I take a hotel pool towel or should I bring one from home?

2. Are there coffee makers in the rooms? Are filters, coffee, sweetener, and packaged creamer provided on a daily basis or should I bring my own?

3. The POR web site also says $10.60 a day if you want a refrigerator. I've been told by someoe they are now provided at no charge. Which is it?

Any words of wisdom as far as for our six-year-old daughter (her first time there) are appreciated. Thanks so much!

They do have pool towels. You will probably need to use a towel from home for the water park. Coffee makers are provided as are the condiments and refrigerators are standard in the moderate hotels now. Your daughter will love it! Plenty to do and don't forget change for the arcade.

Coffee makers are supposed to be in the rooms now, along with refrigerators, at no charge. Coffee is provided daily - I don't know about sugar and stuff since I just know this from previous postings. When we were last at PO French Quarter, they had towels at the pool. Maybe the moderates no longer have the towels? Maybe someone who has been to Riverside recently can answer this one for you.

They had piles and piles of towels at the pool last June(the main pool-not the quiet pools).

POR is lovely. Have a great time and be sure to check out the entertainer in the lounge.

You can get towels at the water parks. You have to pay a deposit if I remember correctly tho. We like to bring our own Tinkerbell ones from home. That way we can spot our chairs easily, since we tend to forget exactly where we parked our stuff!!

Your dd will love POR. This is where my dd turned 6!!! The pools are great and she had a terrific time at the playground area. Wish we had found it before our next to the last day!! Lots of bunnies and ducks running around too.

The last time we were there you could get towels at the pool.
And since we haven't been since they started with the coffee pots/fridges in the rooms for free, I have no idea about what else they provide. But, we like to bring our own so that we know we have what we need. Those filter packs are pretty useful at WDW. We always have some of those.

Are there refrigerators at CSR now?

Do you remember if the arcade at POR takes quarters or do you have to purchase tokens? We've been saving quarters for my daughter, but if they have to be turned into tokens, we'll just bring dollars since they weigh less!
