Bit OT. Has anyone noticed or can check for me if they see mkeeping. I will need to use a vaccum with a hose. I use those ziplock storage bags where you suck air out.

Just used them this week and they are awesome. Esp if one buys bedding. Which i will while in florida. Germany doesnt have king size pillows!!

Flew out of LaGuardia in NY. Only got in about 25 min late but that with the other issues made it miserable. But we're here. Everyone is in great spirits now ready for MK in the morning. Hakuna Matata.

Ah LaG. Got it.

Glad all is well now and hv fun at MK!!!

Try looking for one of the air pumps for inflatable mattresses, sports equipment, and other items. They sell some that have different size nozzles and are reversible. Try a sporting goods store. I don't think you will have access to a vacuum.

Heading home at lunchtime tomorrow (Weds). I'm sure someone stole a week of our vacation. :(

I'm afraid I can't make any comment on your dates just at the moment, but please check back here in a couple of days (once I get back home on Thursday) and I might be able to update you.

Andre

Hahaha the anticipation is killing me :rotfl: Hoping you give me some good news that we are going to be part of test in September!!!!
Ps. Hope you had a great vacation :)

I really dont want to invest in an electrical thing that I cannot use while at home ( live overseas). I was planning on hunting down a mousekeeper while there.. you see them all the time with their carts. I just need to know if their vacuums have nossels or jus the floor part.

Thank you!

No Problem.

Yes they do allow you to use their vacuums we did one year when we were continuing a trip beyond staying at POR.

I had a chat with one of the senior Food & Beverage managers about the new mugs yesterday. Some of this just confirms already known info:

Extensions for continuous stays will be free (e.g. you can swap resorts, but NOT if you have any days away from Disney in between). Length of stay extensions beyond 14 days are also free, but need to be added manually for you. Mugs can be used at all Disney resort hotels during the validity period.

Tea/coffee/chocolate/water are not sensor-based drinks, only the soda-fountain drinks will require chipped mugs. You will place the mug on a new base just under the nozzle, press the button once, and it will dispense the correct amount for the cup (the ice dispensers now have a reduced flow to avoid overflowing cups).

There is a two-minute delay gap between repeat dispenses for the same mug, and a shorter delay between 'half-fills' of your mug (if you press the button to stop the current flow of Lemonade, and then top it up with Sprite for example). Not sure of the exact delay for this, but it could be around 70 seconds. Those delays will get somewhat annoying I suspect.

Very old mugs sold by Disney as 'permanently refillable' cannot be used, you will need to speak to a manager if you have one. Guest issues will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, but most likely any solution will only be for your current trip.

I think that's all the major points covered, but let me know if you need any other info.

There are a few minor food court menu changes due next Thursday by the way (Muffaletta will be served with a flat bread, Cajun chicken sandwich will have a new flavour, etc).

Andre

Thanks for the update Andre, I would hate to have my coffee limited on my upcoming trip. As far as the fountain drinks go, the delay seems very reasonable.

I check in tomorrow - only for one night before SSR but excited. If we like it, we will try and do a bounce back here next Aug.

Sorry Andre if this has already been asked (possibly multiple times) but ... Is there a limit to how many times you can refill your mug with soft drinks/juice?

And thanks for all your updates and the GREAT website. Has been such a great help for this WDW, Value, and Free Dining Veteran but newbie to POR/POFQ and RFID mugs.

Thanks to Andre and Venomhatch and others for the great info in this thread and Andre for the website (found the website long before this thread). I didn't know for sure until Aug. 2, but DD7, DD5, DW, and I will be headed to a POR Garden View Royal Room on Nov. 11th. Due to the free dining plan, we were able to upgrade from Ariel (AoA) to Tiana. I have been looking at these royal rooms since I first saw them on the disney website (but not thinking it would be possible while the girls still love the princesses like they do now).

I have a few "what time can I be at the bus stop and still make _____ ?" questions. Not sure which of the 2 royal buildings we will be in, so it will be either South or East depot.

On Monday Nov. 11, Animal Kingdom has EMH at 8AM. I hear they are now allowing guests in 15 minutes early (not sure if that applies to EMH days). We would like to begin touring as soon as we are allowed to walk in (not necessarily "front of the line", but walk in with everyone else at opening). What time do we need to be at the bus stop to make this happen?

Same question for each of the following:

Tues. Epcot EMH 8AM ?

Tues. Epcot ADR @ Coral Reef @ 7 PM ?

Wed. HS 9AM ?

Thur. MK EMH 8AM ?

Thur. MK ADR @ CRT @ 5:50 PM ?

Fri. MK ADR @ Crystal Palace @ 8:25 AM ?

Thank you for your help.

Well both Royal Buildings are right near the bridge over to my favorite Bus Stop the South Depot. The bridge runs right between them both.

Thats just not right.. How can it even be called a Muffaletta at that point?

Guess it depends on what they mean by a flat bread. I mean a muffaletta bread loaf is somewhat flat and sturdy but not a "flat bread" like you would normally think.

The italian bread with the sesame seeds is "flat"-ish ? :)

Andre-are you going to give any new info on fastpass+/magicbands? Do you see anyone at POR with magicbands? Has anyone on this thread who is going in September able to order magicbands?

So you will be able to use your mug at multiple locations now and not just at your own resort, or do this mean of you have split stays it will be programmed for the other resort?

Does anyone have a picture of the dresser drawers when open? I usually put as much stuff as possible in the dresser. With 5 people that's a lot of clothes! Wondering if I need to bring extra hangers or an under bed storage container. Also, how many drawers are there? It looked like three.

Leaving in 9 days!!! :cool1:
