Yeah as soon as you go up to the dock you have RFC right next to you.

Is there an IPOD dock in the alarm clock at POR? I know at AKL they had them, wasn't sure about POR.

I see someone has asked about RF. We have a TRex reservation for 530 on arrival day. We have not gone over to DTD in 10 years. If we arrive at MCO at 1220 we should have plenty of time to make our reservation right? I figure with ME we will hit POR around 2-3 then check in and head over to DTD by boat. How long should it take to go by boat. What is the easiest way to get to TRex? How much time do I need to allow to get there 1 hr? If we miss it we do (not booked through disney so no CC guarantee) but the girls are looking forward to it. Anything special at DTD the girl might enjoy doing. We don't want to stay up late our 1st night so nothing too late (kids will be turning 5 and 7).

Any tips on finding opinions on the royal rooms at POR? I will be there for 4 days late april and was just hoping to daydream a little and show off any new tips or tricks I might learn to my fiancee.

Lying in bed in a RR room watching Stacy right now (after a day at HS) My DD (9) loves it. It is extremely royal, every nook and cranny. We have a corner room in Oak Manor. Second floor. First time at POR. Beautiful place. We find something new in the RR every night :) :thumbsup2

I'm glad you are liking it. Can't wait to stay there.

I'm so jealous. :) We have 34 days to go. We are staying AB this trip, there will be 5 of us. POR is so beautiful. I love it there.

What might my room look like if I get my request?

We have a garden view room for 5. So I am guessing AB for us. I also requested a top floor and corner room. Anyone ever have this at AB?

I haven't taken ME in years because we usually drive. My friend who was joining us last year called me to let me know when she landed and she was at the hotel 50 min. later. I would imagine it depends on how many stops it has to make and if you have to wait for it at the airport. I think your estimate is good though. I would give yourself an hour for the boat. It is only a 20 minute ride, however you may have to wait awhile for the next boat. When you get off the boat you will want to make your way around the lake. TRex is adjacent to Fultons. It will be on your left shortly after you pass the Lego store. Can't miss it. If you have time before or after your dinner there is a fun little digsite in front of the restaurant your kids will love. My daughter always enjoyed playing in it. Actually still does now that she is 15, but uses her 2 year old niece as an excuse.

I am trying to off the top of my head remember if the RR rooms have the ipod dock. Cant remember.

Nope, sorry, no iPod docks (nor Samsung, LG, Nokia, Sony, etc ones either). I think there is an aux port with will allow you to connect any device with a standard 3.5mm headphone socket though.

Thanks for the feedback! If I am not worried about buses or views, but extremely worried about noise, which Royal Room Building should I request?

Your best bet would be to request "quiet location". The room assigners know their resorts well.

Sounds great! That is what I am hoping for in 9 days:goodvibes

I'm sorry if this has already been talked about(there is ALOT to look through here-lol!)

Could someone give me some tips on the best non-preferred room location in Riverside? We would like to be close to the main pool area as I have teens who will be heading off by themselves. Last time we were in AB building 14 before it was considered a "preferred" location and it was perfect. So bummed this is extra now
:(
