We are at Riverside right now standard view RR
Got all our requests top floor Parterre Place
Not a very far walk to the foodcourt
We are facing the parking lot but can see our vehicle which is great
Beautiful weather and we got a working fridge and we didn't even request one

I need the packing fairies to come visit me. I leave out tomorrow morning at 8 am and I still can't seem to get moving on packing. I'm kind of worn out from getting rained on in the Homecoming parade earlier today. It was a blast but I am tired and I didn't even go to the game!

We checked in today....

No third floor corner like we asked for. Instead got a second floor RRGV and right out our door are two large trees....not much of a view. DTD was packed....zero parking.

Also, our rental car is the "equivelant" of the car we ordered and it's riddled with dents and scratches...we took pics but no one from hertz inspected the car before we left.

MK tomorrow.....we're on vacation

May is never gonna get here!!!

It is October 26th, and we here in our little part of Southern Ontario woke up to FREAKING SNOW ALL OVER this morning! what the frack?

I'm all whining and stuff sitting here reading all these lovely stories about POR, and want to be there NOW, not in May!

Sigh....

It's raining off and on here and it's cold. Looks like the snow is trying to hold off...but I think we'll get the snow next week....only just under 3 weekend left until I'm at POR

That is odd! I wonder why some rooms have them and some don't? Also, for the rooms that don't have the comforters/bedspreads, are there extra blankets on the beds? I don't think just a sheet will be enough for us next month.

Back in 2004 I stayed at POFQ from Nov 7-14 and both POFQ and POR were already decorated, but I don't know if that's still the case.

We will be there the 10-15! My boys will be super excited if the holiday stuff is up. I am usually a "bah humbug" about decorating at home!

Arrived to POR this afternoon around 2.

Got checked in, our magic bands worked great but they were out of the 2013 sliders.

Picked up our mugs and headed for the room. We did get our request for a first floor room but no fridge (requested one for meds), but they brought us one as soon as we called.

Booked a RGR gardenview and requested first floor close to bridge. We are in Oak but on the leg closer to Magnolia then the bridge. However we are right up front by the river so very convenient to the path towards the bridge. Can see the river, but not straight on.

Oh and we have a bedspread LOL. It's on the floor. Kinda hoped for the new bedding.

After doing some off site shopping we came back and decided to go to DTD. It was a wait (2 boats), and DTD was slightly busy but not crazy even for a Saturday.

The resort is not too bad too navigate but we haven't ridden a bus yet and honestly we are pretty much in between the south and east depot.

Then maybe I shouldn't say we got 2 of our trees up this weekend- a white Mickey Tree and a 10 ft fancy tree. With our trip and everything we thought we better put it up now because when we get back I will be almost 9 months pregnant and I don't think I will feel up to it then. My family was making fun of me for putting them up so early but oh well one less thing I have to worry about when we get home. Maybe we will see you there!! Have a great trip!
