I enjoy Pop, but if given the choice, I will always choose POR - especially at Christmas time, it's beautiful! As others suggested, look at getting a Royal Room, my DD13 still loves the light-up headboard! We've stayed at POR many times and never had an issue with the buses, so I wouldn't worry too much about that (that's including staying Christmas week).

POR is way more relaxing and comfortable than any value. We love the King bed room with the murphy bed-it fits our family perfectly. POR honestly feels closer to a deluxe than it does to a value.
As far as busses go, we tend to drive between parks and meals a portion of the time anyway. Our bus experience has been similarly inconsistent everywhere we have stayed on property.
