- we are booked for April, river view (booked back in May). But I got on the WDW site just now and river view is no longer an option unless it is the Royal Guest Room. Price-wise the rate we booked is in between a preferred view and a RGR standard rate.

Did they take all the rooms considered river view and made them RGRs?

Very excited...POR is only 80 days away and I just got FD for our trip! ADR's are made, Pirate Leaque is paid for, MNSSHP tickets have been bought and I have reserved the Pirate Cruise from the POR dock...life is good!

The RGRs are supposed to be all of Oak Manor and all of Parterre Place. I believe there are also river view rooms in Acadian House and Magnolia Terrace as well, so they are probably all booked up since there will be less of them now bc of the RGRs.

OK---coming out of lurkdom just to say I am SHOCKED that there have been no spies, no oopsies snapshots, no my sister's friend's cousin's boss's ex-wife just stayed in a new room and posted pix on FB, no die-hard POR fan's exclusive, no FL resident stopped by and video taped, no sleuthing camera shots by blondes just taking the wrong path back to their room. WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS OF THE NEW ROOMS IN THE MANSIONS??????? I mean, seriously, the DIS already has top secret free dining codes and dates a week early from now thru next year and no one has a flipping photo of these new rooms? Sheesh.....

Well I know i have seen pics and even youtube videos of POR at Christmas. So I know they exist.
