Thanks for the good vibes. I did read a story on the resorts thread that someone's parents were upgraded too because they were the "babysitters". They were upgraded to yacht club... Feb. dates.

Yeah this is what you need to say they are babysitters, yeah that will work. I sure hope they call you soon!

Caught my eye as we are going to RGR in December and I was absolutely glued to this thread last night! Watching the drama unfold then slowing seeing some of you get the amazing call. I'm reading thinking "whos next? whos next?"

Me too! I don't have any personal investment in this turn of events, but it is big fun to watch others get blessed with an upgrade. I continue to hope it turns out well for all.

It seemed when we got upgraded to TPV 3rd Floor at the POLY are days couldnt get closer faster now. We are feeling the magic here.

Sadly I am still upset about the RGR rooms. But cant be but so mad. If it wasn't for this upgrade we would be further off from being able to stay at a deluxe. Just before we rather spend the money on items, and trinkets then on a deluxe room lol.

Received my phone call this morning.......we are now booked for a Garden View Room at the Poly! I am so excited....my husband and I stayed there seven years ago for our honeymoon....it will be nice to go back with our baby boy who will turn three on our trip. My parents are coming along to celebrate and they were upgraded too!!! So excited!!!! Cant wait for our trip now. Feeling very blessed today!!!

Received my phone call this morning.......we are now booked for a Garden View Room at the Poly! I am so excited....my husband and I stayed there seven years ago for our honeymoon....it will be nice to go back with our baby boy who will turn three on our trip. My parents are coming along to celebrate and they were upgraded too!!! So excited!!!! Cant wait for our trip now. Feeling very blessed today!!!

Sorry if I missed it here somewhere, but does anyone know how far out they are now saying the Royal Rooms will be ready? We have a ressie starting 4/11 - what do you all think about our chances?

We check in on Feb 25th. Our AAA agent had a voice mail to call this morning when she got in. She had to wait for them to call her back. We knew we wanted to stay at Poly so we had told her that and that is what they upgraded us too. She said they were very accomodating and wanted to make sure we were happy with our choice. YAY!!

I know!! I would have been happy staying at POR if the Royal Rooms were ready. Maybe next time!! But excited now for the chance to stay at Poly again!

I believe they will be ready on March 9th. But who knows that could change.

OK, I'm TICKED!

I booked POR for September about 4 months ago. It said, clear as day on the site that I was getting a standard room with TWO QUEEN BEDS. I booked that room. Why pay for preferred or garden for the Queens if you get them in the standard, right?

Then I read this thread, went back to check by making a fake second booking for our dates and lo and behold, it now says two DOUBLE beds. Naturally, I didn't print off the page way back when, so I have no proof.

What do you think I should do?

Well unless the one person that booked through Expedia doesn't call them or Disney, they will be the last one. But I hope they do call or did. So they can get something.

I'll take that bet, we're still waiting too I keep finding odd reasons to call or email the TA and see if she's heard anything, while still acting casual, but I think I've finally run out
