Congratulations :rainbow: ... it is so exciting you will be spending your honeymoon at the Happiest Place on Earth

Yeah they have a button for that!

Hey did anyone see the SNL skit with Lindsey Lohan and the House Wives of Disney Segment?

I want to do an anniversary trip with Hubster but he doesnt want to because 1. Its August 30th...too close to labor day 2. Its gonna be too hot. I personally think its totally doable...just go to the parks early morning and come back to resort for a swim & a nap and then go back in the evening.

Well I know we are in AB...cause we are a party of 5!
But I wondered what buildings?

Garden View could be in any of the AB buildings except for 14, 15, 18 and 27. Also in any of the regular mansion buildings of course, but not in your case with 5 people.

I thought I would share a photo of POR that I just added to my photo gallery that I took while in WDW in October.

If you wish to see a larger version just visit my blog (link in signature).

Hope you like it as much as I do.

Gorgeous! I've never been to POR but your photo has me looking forward to our visit in September! Thanks for sharing!

I am so excited! A week ago I didn't think we would get back to Disney World (and POR) until summer 2014 at the earliest. DH shocked me and said to book a November 2012 trip as long we go back to POR and have one day off from the parks to truly enjoy the resort.

I booked a standard room and am hoping for a parking lot view. Last time we had the most beautiful river view from building 27 but truthfully while we were in our room our curtains were closed so we only enjoyed it while we were coming or going. Being close to the parking lot should help us with the getting lost on our way back to our room in the evening (always found it without too much effort, just went the longest way possible when we were most tired).

Hi all, we are headed to POR Apr 19-29!! Soooo excited! DH, DD11, DD8

I had booked a preferred room however when I called today(to see if I had possibly been blessed with a FD pin) the CM told me that the preferred rooms were not scheduled for refurb until May - after our trip. So I made the spur of the moment decision to take her up on the idea to move to a RGR - river view.

Thoughts... Did I make a good choice? Our reason for booking preferred was to be near to amenities however I have read that the RGR buildings are only 5 mins from the main building and that is fine with me! The idea of queen beds and a refurbed room superseded the 5 minute walk.

Now that I am in a RGR do you have a room #suggestion for me to request??

Thank you for any and all input! These boards have been so helpful!!

Just finally booked our July 2012 honeymoon in a royal room river view !! We will be staying for 2 weeks. What building should I ask for?? We definitely want top floor. We're going to call and tell them it's our honeymoon and requests lol any help much appreciated never been here!!!

Congratulations party:The Royal rooms are only located in Oak Manor or Parterre Place and they are right next to each other, and the bridge to the main building is right between them. so not much of a difference walking.

We had a great stay at POR 2/24-2/28 for the Princess half marathon! DH and I were in AB building 34. We had a corner room, king bed. This was great with my knees, and the race! We loved our location, very secluded. Mousekeeping was great, i called at 7 am sat and asked for service before noon, and if not it was fine just not to come. The room was spotless with a towel birdie when we got home that afternoon! Awesome! The resort is huge, and gorgeous! I personally wouldn't stay there without a rental car (we had one) just based on the sheer size and amount of inner bus stops. My parents were in AB building 16. They ended up with a king bed too, facing the parking lot. It was a busy area and I did not love their location, but they seemed fine! We took some pics of the mansion areas before leaving. They are soooo beautiful! Great place for wedding pics, imho. Being a host resort for the race was very convenient with the busing to the start for me. All in all another lovely stay!

Will a twin air mattress fit in the room with the queen beds? We have requested AB, but if for some reason I don't get my request I'm trying to have a back up plan. We are only 4, but 1 of them is my father and no one wants to share a bed with him.

With the murphy bed, it would be tight and someone might get stepped on during the night. It would be a bit more doable in the mansions, without the murphy bed.

We had the pack n' play in the connecting room this past year, and the mousekeeper moved aside the table and chairs and it fit nicely. I would think you could do the same with a twin air mattress.

You can also lean it up against the wall in the dressing area during the day.

18 days!!!

:cheer2:

We are booked in a Garden View. We have 2 little ones (4 and 9 months)

Question: I want to order a few things from Amazon and have them shipped to POR. Can someone tell me how I should address the packages? Just my name? Or add my confirmation number somehow?

ETA:

Never mind - found it on the POR site....
