there are several bus stops at Port Orleans Riverside. Which one is the best to use in order to get to the parks at Rope Drop? I have a family of 4 with a double stroller. Also, would one of the stops at French Quater work better? Thanks

It doesn't matter. Whether you get on at the first stop or the fourth, you will get to the park at the same time.

What is more important is getting to your bus stop early enough. Be at the bus stop one hour or more before RD. And have that stroller folded and ready to board.

POFQ only has one bus stop. It normally does not share buses with POR except during the middle of the day.

We've always used the South depot, and it works out pretty well.

However, one time we stayed in Building 26 and the West depot was closer, so we tried it. We were pleasantly surprised at how uncrowded it was. The wait times and capacity of the buses were about the same. depends on time of year a lot, I think. Several posters have said to try the bus stop at POFQ, but we haven't tried it due to the distance (have difficulty with mobility)

Hope this helps.

We used the south depot, and it gets crowded, but its your best bet for getting on the bus. When we stayed in Oct.2013, it was the first stop for the bus when picking up. It went around to the other stops, on the way out, but at times we were loaded up pretty good.
