I have heard rumers that some bus stops are better than others. That some buses fill up and then don't go to the other stops. Which Bus stops fill up first, which stop ids last on the list? I am think of being in the Mansion Bldgs, (in Jan 09) which would be that east side bus stop, is it worth it to walk to the others? THanks

The bus will pick up at the front stop, the main entrance. The bus will then circle the resort and pick up. We did walk to the front entrance depot in the morning. We stayed at the Magnolia Terrace building, and we often used the depot close to it, never had a problem during the day or evening. So maybe in the morning when the "rush" to get to a park is on, but most of the time never had a problem using the depot closest to our building.

We stayed at POR at the end of January, and were closest to the East Depot. I don't know where the busses started, but the bus was never full at the East Depot, and after picking us up there, it went around to the South Depot (the main one), and there was always a huge line, and not everyone was able to get on the bus.

In the evenings, it would stop at FQ first (if we were sharing a bus at that time, most evenings we did not), and then go to the South depot first, and then around to west, north, and then east last.

I thought that the East Depot was really great, and we would especially avoid the South Depot in the mornings because of the crowds.

Last May they always picked up at the 1st stop first except for once it came in opposite order for some reason. Either way the bus was just about full since they came from POFQ first. We had times when we went past the rest of POR stops and there was no more room on the bus to get the people. Of every resort I've stayed at it my least favorite as far as bus transportation goes. It's a good thing the resort is so wonderful otherwise I wouldn't stay there again!

I had asked this same question a while ago (we leave for POR on Tuesday:cheer2: ). Anyway, when I asked the question the consensus seemed to be "west is best." It sounded like to me that in the a.m. the buses stop first at POFQ and then head to the west depot at POR. After the west depot the bus circles around the resort with the south depot being the last stop. I can give you an update after our trip. I have my fingers crossed for a good bus experience!
