Port Orleans Riverside - Best building to request?

Okay so in December my fiance and I are getting married at Disney and honeymooning there after. My parents that will be coming to the wedding will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. No one in our family has stayed there yet... so I came to you guys here on dis to find out. What would be the best building for them to request? I really want them to have a great time too. If you have any pictures of the different buildings/rooms feel free to post them too! I know the resort can not guarantee anything.

I would request building 36 or 38. It is the farthest from the hustle & bustle of the food court & main pool.

If you want to be near the food court and busses and pool, then book preferred room and request building 14.

It would depend on what your parents want. Do they want to be further away from the busy parts of the resort? Do they want to be close to the main building and the main pool? Do they want to be close to a bus stop? What decor do they prefer?

Alligator Bayou is a bit more rustic with the greenery having a "overgrown" look. While bldg 14 is closest to the main area it is often hard to get into. Building 16 is a nice option ... no parking lots to see ... just gardens ... close to both the main pool and a quite pool ... reasonably close to the main bus stop (which can be an advantage when going to the parks as it will be the first stop at Riverside to pick up)

The mansion have a much different feel (manicured lawns -- more majestic feel like a large plantation house) and are further away from the main part of the resort. Magnolia Terrace Bldg 80 is closest to the walkway to get you over to the food court/lobby area and probably closest to the east depot on that side of the resort.

This is a nice resort and all areas are nice. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
