We are just back from our trip. We stayed at the POR in AB building #27. I can't remember the room number. We were there from 2/8-2/11 and really enjoyed it!
There are 6 of us and the room is quite large and we never felt on top of each other.
The pools were great and the kids loved the slide at Ole Man Island.
The only problem we had was when I called Guest Services asking if there was a microwave available, I was told no. Needless to say there is and I found it the night before we checked out.
We also visited all of the Resorts on the Monorail. Our favorite was the Poly!
When we visited the GF, we walked down the stairs and decided to take the glass sided elevator back up. It went up very slowly and there was obviously something wrong with it. I told my dh that I couldn't wait to get off. It stopped on the 2nd floor but the doors didn't open. Instead it dropped us back to the 1st floor. Thank God it was only one floor! My kids were crying and my dh and I were both shaken up!
We called security on the elevators emergency phone and got put on hold. The operator heard me say that I couldn't believe it and she put me through. It took about 10 minutes for them to come. In the meantime we were banging on the windows trying to get someone from the cashier's desks to see us. Finally two guards came and forced the doors open. We were about a foot still from the 1st floor and we hopped down and left immeadiately. It was quite a scary experience. We were petrified that it would take off and then drop us again.
