Port Orleans Halloween

Hey everyone, staying at French Quarter again. Been all over and we enjoy staying there every couple trips because of the short walks to the bus depots. Curious if they do any sort Halloween stuff. Like does the carriage ride become a "haunted" carriage ride or anything?

Already planning on dressing up at the Not So Scary Halloween Party a few nights. We will be there Oct 21-28. We've stayed at both Riverside and French Quarter. Is there anything special there during Halloween that you recommend? Anything else worth doing there? We never really explore the resorts.

We are staying there during Halloween and would like to know too. Last Halloween we stayed at a value and didn't notice decorates except the gift shop.

I asked this question awhile back generally for resort decorations, to decide if I should go Halloween or Christmas. And every response said resorts just do not do much. Maybe some pumpkins on the tables, or merchandise in the store . But they said it was not near what they do for Christmas. MK sounds like it has the most, due to MNSSHP, so you will see them there.

I recall reading that FW at one point had a haunted carriage ride...so you may want to look into that. But I do not believe the PO resorts offer a haunted version.

NOthing is really decorated for Halloween other than MK and DTD ( no Trick or treating at DTD anymore).There may be a few pumpkins on the check in desk etc but no major decorations.There used to be a Haunted Carriage ride at Fort Wilderness, but it was dc'd a couple of years back and they were supposed to bring it back this year but I haven't heard whether or not they did.Some of the resorts do have Halloween activities on Halloween night and the schedule for them should be published closer to the date.Nothing else is done around WDW resort
