Port Orleans French Quarter or Riverside?

:cheer2: Another Vote POR :cheer2:

My family loves POR!!! Going back there in March!!

Having said that, your going to Disney you can't go wrong :earboy2:

Being from Georgia, POR just seems to familiar. We loved POFQ both times we stayed there. Coming from the north, you may prefer POR, but POFQ seems a little smaller and more comfy. Either way, don't miss taking a boat to Downtown Disney. Do it during the day for sightseeing, and at night for a cool, romantic trip. (if that applies - it did for us on our honeymoon, back when we were poor as dirt and only had each other - those were the days, but I digress...)
So, I have been no help other than to say we prefer POFQ. The food court is awesome and the pool has a great waterslide.

We just got back from a week at POFQ. We loved the intimate feeling of the resort. It was such a short walk to busses and the boat to DTD. We used the food court a few times and the food was good and we never had a problem getting a table. POR is more spread out and during our week, was filled with Pop Warner teams. The busses picked us up first most of the week, but on the last day (12/11), they reversed the route. It dropped off Riverside first, FQ last. It threw us off at first, but we only had to deal with it for a day! Have a good time!

Thanks again to everyone for all the replies! WOW!

We have decided to book French Quarter because of it being smaller and we will have shorter walks everywhere.

We are officially booking today! yahooo!

Thanks again to everyone! puckerup:

My DD (25) and mself (much older than 25) stayed at the POFQ November 29th thru Dec 3rd and fell in love with it. It is a much smaller resort than POR but by no means feels cramped. The rooms were beautiful and mouskeeping was wonderful. We loved walking down by the river, taking the boat to POR and Downtown Disney or just having a quiet drink at Scat Cat (small lounge). Since POFQ was the first stop for the bus it shared with POR we were always assured a seat. It's a lovley resort and perfect for adults. I'm hoping to get my husband to stay there next year when we go.....but he loves the CSR so it may be a bit of a tug-of-war.
