Can someone tell me how deep the pool gets at POFQ? I can't seem to find detailed info about the pool, but I have founds lots of pictures. For those who have stayed at WL, how do you think the POFQ pool compares?
I just returned from a 6 night stay at POFQ, this was the first time we stayed there. The rooms were wonderful the grounds were beautiful and the resort is small so you dont feel like you have to hike to get back to the main building or the food court.
We checked in and were told our room was ready we were in building 3 room 3210, we went to the room it had not been cleaned, I had ordered flowers for my DD who had just turned 18, they were being delivered the same time we got to the room, the guy said oh no this room isnt ready, he called the desk and they moved us to room 3240 which was a handicap accessible room but did have a regular tub. The bathroom was huge. We didnt hear much of anything at night, until the last 2 nights when I guess someone checked into the next room and they really liked to bang on their own door and talk very loud.
The buses I have to say were very inconsistent, on our first day there we waited 40 minutes for a bus to Epcot after waiting that long we decided to board a bus to the MK and jumped on a monorail to Epcot, we got there the same time a guy that had been waiting at the resort for a bus with us. He must have waited right at an hour for a bus to Epcot.
Another evening we waited for a bus from DTD for 45 min. I spoke with the front desk about this and he said that buses to DTD do have usually 40 minute waits. We had ridden the boat down and wanted to change it up so we took the bus back from DTD. Oh how I wish we wouldve just taken the boat back.
The food in the food court was good, not a lot to write home about. 2 things that I did enjoy was the beignetsand the collard greens.
We loved the pool, I even went down the slide.
I will defiantly stay here again.
Well they must since a few years ago Disney put out that commercial and the little girl said that the baby brother was a souvenir.
We just added three more nights to our POFQ visit so I have another question. Do you leave a "Mousekeeping Tip" daily or do it at the end on your last day?
We have only camped at the Fort so we didn't have to do "Mousekeeping" tips.
Thanks for the info.
Allison
There isn't an actual guest-released one available, but I do have full layouts for each of the buildings at Port Orleans with room numbers listed.
If anyone here is really good with Illustrator or CAD software and architectural-type stuff, would they maybe like to volunteer to help make some neater more presentable versions from it that we can share with everyone? I could do it, but I'm sure it'd take me ages!

We always have left a daily tip for mousekeeping for the same reason. Check out this handy site to print off cute mousekeeping envelopes before you leave for the world......

We have always done this....just something cute to get in the Disney spirit!
Did you see our resort on ABC news tonight? Stop this video at 1:12 (sorry, but you have to endure the commercials in the beginning before they even start the video).
