I wish I had a local Disney Store!!;) The closest is an hour away and I will not be able to go before our trip.

DH and I purchased a Cinderella gown for her when we were at Disney in May. She acted very happy, but after talking to her I found out she really wanted Ariel, no fin. I am going to exchange it on this trip, I just need to do it the night we get to POFQ, since we have Cindy's for breakfast the next morning.

Thanks for your help!

I may be wrong, however, the Disney Store (yes, the one an hour away from you) might be able to ship the correct gown to your house. It may be worth a phone call to them. Disney does try to make everyone happy and I am pretty sure this is a service they provide. :)

Thanks so much Andre. I wish it was the nicer toiletries. O well :rotfl:

:rotfl:I'm going to be at BC with family before I get to POFQ, I was thinking I might have to hoarde some of the tolietries from there and schlep them over to my solo stay. I have to have the seperate conditioner 2n1's just don't work for me, and I've been told the body wash is pretty cool.

Hi Everyone,

It has been so much fun reading about everyone's past experiences and those who are waiting for their trip dates to arrive. I have learned a lot about POFQ and it sounds wonderful, however, we have decided to change our reservations.

We were originally booked at POFQ for 1 night before our cruise. Then a wonderful thing happended which allowed us to add 3 more nights.

However, since we are now staying 4 nights we have decided to move our reservation to the CBR so we can stay in the Pirate Room for our DS.

This is our first family vacation (just the three of us) and we want it to be extra special. I know he will love the Pirate Beds so I'm sorry to say Goodbye for now. I'm going to joing the CBR thread.

I hope everyone has a great time at POFQ.

Allison

You should have all new bedding as part of the room change service anyway. Not sure about the breadspread on top though, they may not change that for every guest - does anyone know?

Andre

Years and years ago when I had inquired about this I was told that all bedding including the comforters were cleaned between guests. In all those years, the policy could have changed.

My son has severe allergies so we also need a fresh comforter. We just call house keeping as soon as we get to our room and they bring one right up. I suppose you could call before you arrive but I'd be afraid it didn't get switched.

You could call disabilities and ask about their VIP cleaning. There are different levels of VIP cleaning. I don't know if they charge for the cleaning or not.

I'm so disappointed to read it's the combined product for hair, yuck! We stayed at CSR and it was separate. You would think the mods were keep it consistent? The deluxe resorts and DVC properties do sell the h20 products in their stores.

Is it December YET???? :lmao: Y'all the wait is really getting unbearable!-I can not wait to get to POFQ!!

I do have a question... I just booked a Keys to the Kingdom tour for our first day. We'll have to be at the park at 8:15 for the 8:30 tour. How early do the buses start running? Will we be able to catch a bus or will we need to get a taxi? If so anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

Don't buses start an hour before park opening?

If you take a taxi you'll also need to pay attention to the new monorail hours. Depending on when the resort monorail starts, and if you take a taxi you might want to be dropped off at the Contemporary walkway to MK?

Finally "PAID IN FULL" today! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: What a GREAT feeling!:rotfl::rotfl: Now if Sept. would hurry up and get here!

Thanks so much for all the cool info. Stayed last August and we are leaving in 23 days to enjoy the world. Can't wait had a fabulous time at POFQ last year and I'm excited to see the new rooms.

DSis and I just returned from 4 days/3 nights at POFQ we had a corner room in building 4 (last wing from the Main Building. Everyone that we dealt with at the resort went above and beyond to assist us while we were there (from the front desk to the concierge cast member to the baggage handlers). Loved the messages from our Check in and also our departure cast members. We were doing all 4 parks in four days so we really didn't spend anytime at the pools so I can't comment there but the food court was very helpful after a long late day at the parks, the selection was very limited at 11 p.m. when we got there but they did their best to accomodate, we ended up with a pizza and some beignets. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus to any of the parks or downtown disney. The small size of the resort makes it easy to get around and as I already said, every cast member we encounted was great!!!:wizard:

Buses begin running at 6:30 am for early morning ADR's. They don't run as frequently as buses starting one hour before park opening, but they are there.

I cant wait to come back, i haven't been there for a few years and really miss POFQ. I hope to stop by for a visit with mom in about a week :)

That's great to know! Then I guess the bus would be the best option for the person doing the tour.

I would try World of Disney to see if you could purchase a dress and have it delivered to your room for your arrival. I found this phone number when I googled World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. 407) 828-1451 Good luck!!

Single digit dance!!!!
:dance3::dance3::dance3:

I am going to skip online check- in and do the check-in while there. Can't wait for our POFQ stay!

CSR is a convention resort, and has other things that the mods don't have (like a gym/min-spa and room service).

Okay just realized that MK has EMH that morning and opens at 8. So buses will be running by 7am right? (We've never done the early morning EMH lol too early for us!) So we shouldn't have any problem getting there in plenty of time.
