Wish I had been there for the Mardi Gras celebration! How fun!

Can anyone tell me if the refurbished rooms have Iphone/Ipod docking stations?

Am I correct that now all the rooms (when finished) will have either queen or king size beds? Isn't that the same size as at the monorail resorts (and others)? I really hope so because I know they called them double beds before and we really could have used the queen size.Thanks

Coronado Springs has all double queens or king. By the end of April, all rooms at the Port Orleans French Quarter will also. They will start next on the Port Orleans Riverside upgrades.

I just read on another forum (Andre's site) that movies are sometimes shown outside Building 4 at POFQ. Is this a year round evening activity? Can anyone who has seen a movie there describe the set-up (near the pool, crowded, etc.). We're spending several evenings relaxing at the resort or DTD, and if there are outdoor movies shown this would be a nice option to have.

Are there pool games or activities? We've enjoyed Bingo at AS Music and games for kids (balloon tosses, hoola hoop contests, etc.) at CSR. I don't remember any activities such as these at POR.

So I'm thinking we'll go to the first Friday of SWW... how early do buses start running so I can plan to be out there at the earliest possible time?

We didn't watch the movie, but I saw the set up inside the courtyard between Building 4 and Building 5. They were showing Finding Nemo.

My Grandma likes to drink hot tea in the morning. Does anyone know if there are pieces of lemons at the drink station? She likes real lemons, not the juice packs.

I think there is. My dh likes to put some in his coke. I'd ask him for sure, but he's not here right now.

There are taxis available parked in the lot, the bellmen can wave one in for you.

Yes, there are pieces of lemons in a container in the drink station.

we've stayed at pofq 3x and have a 4th trip booked there for the end of this year. i don't remember if there are taxis hanging out around the front of the resort but twice we've had the desk call for a taxi for us and we waited maybe 10 minutes or less. i think they may just come over from dtd.

Didn't know if anyone could comment on this but I read in earlier posts that the pillows are horrible and that it might be a good idea to bring your own or go to Walmart and buy cheap ones..

ARE THEY SIMILAR TO THE ONES AT POP/ALL STARS???

We stayed at CBR in Oct and thought the pillows were just fine for a Moderate level but IMO, dislike the ones at the Values!!!

I think pretty good! They are done with all the buildings except 2 (which they are doing now) and 3 which is last!

We'll be there on THURSDAY TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called and requested building 6 (we have standard) so we'll see what happens. I'm hoping Thurs won't be as busy as Fri, Sat, and Sun but on the flip side, those are the biggest check-in/out days and maybe would get you a better shot at a new room..we shall see!!!!!!

Good luck to you!!! We won't be checking in until at least 7:30pm (flight lands at 6:30) but my brother lives there and will be picking us up so any little bit helps!!

I had no problems with them, as a pillow is a pillow to me. A couple of them were a little hard but otherwise, I found no issues.

I wouldn't say that the pillows are horrible, and I can't say if they're like the pillows at POP/ALL Stars never having stayed there. But they are a bit small and a bit hard, not really to my liking. (unless they've changed them since my last visit in November)
