Been a while since we've started on property & back then the kids weren't interested in arcade games, now though at nearly 12 they are. How much are the games & how long will the 100 arcade credits with our pkg last them?

Oooh, good question! I want to know, too.popcorn::

Not long at all. Last year, if I remember correctly, it was just a tease. We threw an extra $10 or $20 on top of it and we were there less than 30 minutes. The kids did have fun though.

I'm so excited, I just added a night to our first-ever POFQ getaway next month. NEXT MONTH!!! Thanks so much to everyone who's been posting and to Andre for his vast knowledge of the prettiest resort on property. I can't wait to see it in person. Did I mention we're going NEXT MONTH? :rotfl:

First, how exciting that your trip is coming up! I too am excited for my POFQ vacation! :yay: I hope the time flies for you!

Secondly, I just wanted to say I love your username :) Katie Scarlett was a nickname my parents would occasionally call me when I was younger, so it makes me smile to see that :)

Hi, I have been lurking since May when we reserved our room at POFQ. It is our first family trip to the world, so we are really excited & want it to be perfect (or as close as we can get to it!). You guys have given me such great info that I haven't felt I needed to post until now. We are coming Oct 9 - 19. When I saw free dining, I thought I would try to add it on to our reservation, but there is no availability at POFQ. I am so sad!!! We did find it at CBR though, so are considering switching, but after months of lurking, I don't wanna go "there". After we change a plane tix date (or 4) & add an extra night on to the front of our vacation, we would still save about $700 by doing free dining. Would you do it? I really need your help & I so value your opinions!

Sarah

Extra night plus still saving $700. I say go for it! That's $700 extra dollars in your pocket to do with what you want. Have a great trip! :)

If you eat at expensive TS - then free dining is worth it.
It must be a package - so you have to buy your tickets through WDW too.
You also pay Rack Rate for your resort room.
I think AP ticket holders can also get the free dining - but not positive.

Try LeCellier (EPCOT dinner), Coral Reef(EPCOT dinner), Tony's(MK dinner), Yak & Yeti, Boma (AK dinner), Cape May (BC dinner), Chef Mickey (CR dinner), & 1900 Park Fare (GF dinner) for the more expensive 1 TS credits.

We can not get free dining when we go to WDW - June/July prime time to visit WDW :rotfl:
but....

We like to get the AAA discount on our room and can not get both the AAA room discount and free dining benefits at the same time.

We also get our Park tickets though "under covert tourist dot com", so we have our Park tickets and can not do a package.

We saved about $100 on our tickets (four tickets all adult 10 day Park hoppers)
and about $200 on our room with the AAA discount.
We have to pay $15 a night for our DS age 20.

We eat OOP, watch our budget and do TS mostly at lunch when it is less expensive.
We also eat breakfast in our room - a faster way to get us and our teen/adult (DS age 20 and DD age 17) to the bus stop in the AM (especially on early EM hour mornings) to get to the Parks.
That also saves us some $$'s.

Price out some places you will eat - and see if the free dining package is good for your family.

AP holders cannot get free dining (well, they can, but it's the same as the public free dining). AP holders can, however, pay for the dining plan without buying additional tickets.

The ticket discounter is www.undercovertourist.com.

Personally, we don't like the DP, even though we do lots of TS and signature dining. It just doesn't fit the way we eat. But if dining works for you, then free dining may be worth it if you'd pay rack rate for the room anyway.

Hey ya'll. :goodvibes

Just wanted to join in on all of the giddiness while we wait on our vacation time to get here. This resort is just so beautiful. :cloud9:

How big is the fridge in the room? Anyone have a photo? Would a full gallon of milk fit for example?

Depends what is important to you. I would personally stay at POFQ even with a discount somewhere else (okay, if it was an AWESOME discount for Grand Floridian or Contemporary I might be swayed...). I have no want to stay at another resort. I like POFQ.

Welcome!!! POFQ is a great resort as is CBR. I would absolutely switch (I have stayed at both resorts in the past) to save $700. Enjoy!!!
