Like before it is just me and my wife we picked BLD 7 3RD floor lake view can you tell me more about if this time I got it right? We were looking for a peaceful room but one we can still get to the buses and pool would love to hear more about POFQ? :cool1: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

I posted to your other thread this morning! We've stayed in POFQ a couple of times. This is actually our favorite resort. Last summer, I asked for a room AWAY from everything and building 7 was what we got. We were upgraded to a river view room at no additional cost. I always request 1st floor (spinal issues). I swear there were no other people staying in #7 facing the river! We were there for 10 days. It was sooooooo quiet!

Two years before, we were in building 1 (opposite end) and it was also very quiet! :flower:

MY bf and I were there last June. We had a king/river view in building 5. I was right in the center of the action but because it was on the river it was quiet. We found it to be very romantic in the evening..take a stroll by the river and then hop on a boat to DTD! Since the resort is a small one everything is never more than a short walk away! Another nice thing to do is take the boat over to PoR and rent a surrey bike, have a drink and relax.. you will truely be transported. Boatwrights in PoR is great for breakfast..we didn't really eat much at the resort except breakfast..oh and try the beignets! :wizard:

I am also looking for info on this resort. My DH and I will be going in Sept. for a couple of days. Would like to try this resort out. We have stayed at CSR and CB, liked CSR the best out of these two. We were in New Orleans a few years ago and I loved it. I think from what I can see that the POFQ would be great. Also, a smaller mod would be very nice.

PO-FQ is our 2nd favorite resort, right behind the Polynesian. We would have stayed there in June, had a discount been available there. Oh well, we like trying different resorts and plan on trying them all eventually.

That being said, PO-FQ is quite romantic, intimate and beautiful. We like the fact that at the bus stop, you are the 1st on and the 1st off. The food court is really nice, and you HAVE to have the beignets in the morning! The pool is nice, and we enjoy the fact that between PO-FQ and PO-R, which are sister resorts, you have 2 themed pools and 6 quiet pools as well as 2 hot tubs. I think you made an excellent choice~!

If you visit www.allearsnet.com and look under accomodations...there are tons of pictures/slides of each resort, the outside/inside, lobby, food areas, pools, rooms, etc. This is also a wonderful site to check out the menus! :flower:

Forgot to tell you that building 7 is the closest to the bridge where you can walk over to POR which is the sister resort. You can dine, swim, shop etc at POFQ and POR easily!

DH and I stayed there last Sept. in a king room in Bldg 5 on the 2nd floor. We were on a corner facing the parking lot, but it was always very quiet. We were there for 3 nights. I loved it for our adults only trip, but it did not seem very kid friendly with so few elevators. We will definitely stay there again.

I like allears. Do you know if there are bld. layouts because I called yesterday and they gave me a room # in bld. 7 for my stay I got that number from the unoffical wd guide but I would like to know if that is a conor room! just cant wait.:firefight :jumping1: :firefight :love2:

It is our experience that all the king rooms r corner rooms and most have a water view@ FQ!! (someone correct me if I am wrong!)
