Hi! Can anyone give me an opinion on what side of the ship to book staterooms? I am sure the difference is negligible, but hopefully the other detail-oriented, over-planning people out there will understand my obseesive need to research this and everything else before making a final decision.

Thanks for all of your expertise!

Looking forward to 11/15 Eastern.

On the eastern, I like the starboard side. Since the ship usually backs in to both St. Thomas and Castaway Cay, this gives you a nice view of the harbor on St. Thomas and of the island on Castaway Cay. The only downside is that on St. Maarten, you usually get a view of the cargo pier, but this is really only slightly worse that the view of another ship on the port side in St. Maarten.

I agree entirely...we had excellent water/harbor views in all three ports (cabin 7558)! Have a great time!

We had starboard on our eastern last week, and we had great views at all 3 ports. The best was getting ready for castaway cay and watching us pull up from the balcony. It just kept getting closer and closer until you could see all the details of the family beach. Very exciting!
