Port of Miami Car Rental

We need to rent a one way car rental in Miami when we get off the Magic October 28. It would be a one way rental to FLL. We are needing to rent a mini-van x2 (2 different families) so we can do stuff in between debarking and being at the Ft Lauderdale airport at 5pm. Who have you used? Or do you know the closest car rental agency to POM? Or do you know which car rental agencies will pick you up from port and take you to their location? 2 days of Google searches haven't gotten me anywhere....

We have rented through AVIS on three occasions over the past two years, each time flying into FLL and taking a one-way rental from the AVIS Location at 99 2nd Street in downtown Miami - we have done the reverse as well from downtown Miami to FLL. The cost for a mid-size one-way was approximately $55 per rental and they offer a free shuttle from the cruise port to the rental agency.

Our last trip was the WBPC and we had a group of 10 - we rented a brand new Ford Transporter Van (seating for 12 and all of the luggage) for $140 unlimited mileage for one-day.

There is a shuttle that goes from the port to the car rental center at the airport (MIA). We did it from MIA to the port for a WBPC cruise. We did Alamo, but I have read that Dollar, Thrifty and Hertz also provide a complimentary shuttle. There may be others that provide a complimentary shuttle also.
