Port in New Orleans

Looking to book our flights for Feb. How far is the port to the airport? Is an 11:45 flight okay?

It’s pretty close but I think 11:45 is tight, especially with al the covid unknowns. I think debarkation is probably going to be a lot slower for a while.

The airport is about 15 miles from port. I would wait a few days to see how debarkation works for the first cruises. If they still offer express walk-off, 11:45 should be fine. MSY is not a huge airport. They made a big upgrade to the airport a couple of years ago. It's really nice now and still has a Cafe du Monde to get some beignets before your flight.

Barring any major traffic disruptions, an 11:45 flight is totally fine.

Once you are out of Customs and get into your taxi/ride-share, the drive should only be about 30 minutes.
