i watched it in the very beginning...i remember the first episode. i wonder if some of the actors will migrate back over to General Hospital now. i know that i would be very sad to see Lucy go if she doesn't go back to GH...

Thanks for sharing the news. They were winning quite a few awards and getting lots of notice this year. It's surprising they are pulling the plus but the financial reasons make sense.

I was interested for awhile but the whole vampire thing just seems to be dragging on and on. I can't say that I'm too upset about the cancellation. I just hope they wrap things up in a sensible way.

I watched this show since it started until they killed Eve off. That was the last episode for me. I was thinking the same thing though, about having some characters reappear on GH. That could make for some more interesting plots with Lucy back.

So far the GH sites only have Chris possibly coming to GH.

They have said that they aren't interested in Lucy or Kevin.

In the current storyline, there's a chance that Lucy may die. If you haven't been watching the show but are a fan of Lucy's you may want to tune in for the next week. I hope they don't kill her off as they did with Eve.

so, if GH is no longer interested in Lucy...i take that to meant that there won't be any more nurses balls...

how sad...i knew they weren't doing the ball this year...even without lucy's character, i hope that they continue doing the nurses ball. i've always enjoyed them immensely

I am sooooooooo bummed! I love this soap! I love the fact that is is only 1/2 hour long. And I dig the whole vampire thing.

Oh well...... such is life.

I really got into it in the beginning and watched for years. Once they went to the witch craft, angels, vampires, time travel crap I totally lost interest but still tune in from time to time. I dont think its the 1/2 hour thing that causes the problem I think its the ridiculous storylines.

That means they won't be at SSW this year? Don't forget...the show USED to be called Loving years back... and than evolved into this.

actually...loving became "the City" and then was cancelled...

PC is a spin off of GH...whereas loving/the city was not, at least not to my knowledge anyway...

i miss that one too! i used to watch it semi regularly...in fact..one of the gals on AMC used to be on Loving/the city...i think her character's name was Steffi. anyway, she's now Mia on AMC

i also used to watch Sunset Beach. i watched that one from day one...i was so sad when it ended...

OMG Scarlett!!! I think you are the only other SSB fan I have found. I too watched from day 1...it was the first day DH went back to work after DS was born so since I was home alone on maternity leave I really got into it. I made sure DS napped at that time, LOL! I was so bummed when it ended.

Nope, Count me in as another Sunset Beach fan. I didn't know what to do with myself when they cancelled that. Now PC.

OMG ME TOO!!!

After having my baby, I was watching SB and so wanted Meg's hair that I dyed my blonde hair dark to her color.

Well, what a mess. Within a week it was a mousy brown and everyone hated it. I chalked it up to Post Partum hormones.

LOL, Lizzie. Our kids must be about the same age.

I loved the way that show ended, or at least the way you thought it would end. I think it would have been hysterical to have it all be a dream. I was bummed that it wasnt.
I was very pregnant with my second DS when that ended and we were stumped on a name. I suggested Benjamin Evan to DH, but he didnt buy it.
