Port Canaveral?

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do in the Port Canaveral, Cocoa Beach area for a day, besides Kennedy Space Center? Are there any good public beaches in Cocoa Beach? Thanks.

Cocoa Beach is miles and miles long. The beach is wide and there are lots of little shells all over. The water can be a little cold depending on the time of year. We spent a few hours there in April and wish we could have stayed longer.

We parked near Ron Jons at a parking meter.

Ron Jons is nice to visit with tons of beach stuff and clothing.
