we are arriving in port canaveral on the Wonder and then continuing our cruise on the Dream. Is there any transportation to take us from the Wonder to the Dream? Or is it close enough to just walk?

Are you arriving on the Wonder and departing again on the Dream on the same day? It would be highly unusual for DCL to schedule both ships to be at PC on the same day because they would have to arrange for one to berth at a different terminal. But I admit I don't have the schedules memorized so maybe there is something unusual planned.

If the debark/embark are next-day, transportation options will depend on your overnight accommodations. Yes, you can take DCL Transfers from PC to either MCO or WDW and then back the next day; that would cost $35 per person each direction.

Enjoy your cruises!

Yes, PC on the same day. we arrive on the Wonder in the morning and departing on the Dream in the afternoon.

OP - are you on the CARNIVAL Dream??

I can't find any itineraries where there are two Disney ships at Port Canaveral on the same day. They usually don't use another terminal except in emergencies.

I don't know any times where the Dream and Wonder are both in PC. What date?

OP, is this the 14 nt from Vancouver, followed by the 3 nt on the Dream? This would involve both ships at PC on September 9.

That must be it. DCL must have arrangements with another line to dock one of the ships. I bet the Wonder will be somewhere else since it will not be taking on new passengers that day - leaving for dry dock.

That's all I'm finding as well. The Wonder's EB Panama Canal cruise will arrive at Port Canaveral on Sept. 9th, and the Dream has a turn-round that day as well departing on a 3-night cruise. I assume DCL may have planned for a quick debarkation of the Wonder at a different terminal, since it will then head to dry dock with no new passengers boarding. The Dream is likely to be at the usual DCL terminal.

In looking at the Master Cruise Ship Schedule on the Port Canaveral website (http://www.portcanaveral.com/PortCanaveral/media/Cruise-Assets/Copy-of-Master-Cruise-Schedule_1.pdf), it appears the Wonder will dock at terminal 5 while the Dream will be at terminal 8. Here's a map that shows both (http://www.portcanaveral.com/PortCanaveral/media/Cruise-Assets/2016 Images/10188-CAFR-Dev-Map-with-fonts.pdf). They are near each other but I don't recommend walking as there aren't adequate/safe sidewalks or pathways and I'm not aware of transportation between terminals at Port Canaveral. A cab is probably your best option; if you get the choice, I'd opt for a later debark so you won't be too early arriving at the DCL terminal for the Dream.

Enjoy your cruises!

If I were you I would check with Disney to see if you are allowed to stay at the port/in the terminal all day. They may require that you leave the building until it reopens for the next ship departure.

DCL does allow B2B passengers to remain in the terminal until reboarding for the 2nd leg. However, OP's situation won't be in the same building because it's different ships. The Wonder appears to be scheduled at Terminal 5, which I think is the Carnival terminal. The Dream will be at the usual DCL terminal, #8. Completely separate buildings. OP needs to find transportation between the buildings. But timing is why I suggested latest debarkation possible from the Wonder, so they don't end up in a cab circling until allowed to drop-off at the DCL terminal.

It probably depends on if there are others doing this pseudo-B2B .
Could be something worth asking DCL about. I would think, even just a small van wouldn't be that much effort. I mean, they already have buses/vans at the port for debarkation, most likely. Maybe one of the regular buses could make a stop on the way out of the port?

Yeah. Worth asking! I was just meaning if there is a good number, they might have already thought of that type of shuttle. But if it's only one or two they may not have.

thank you everyone for your responses. I called DCL and they are working out the details for this transportation and will have something. We will receive a letter on the Wonder with disembark instructions. we will have to disembark the wonder with luggage to go through customs. Since there are several doing this, dcl is setting up the transfer to the dream.

This sounds like a really fun B2B! Nice find! :thumbsup2
