What are there for gas stations near Port Canaveral? Looking at a rental, returning to Hertz.

Honestly, they don't measure the gas.

They just want the pointer somewhere near "F"

When you get withing 50 miles of Port Canaveral just look out for the best price you see and stop there.

There is a great website called gas buddy that tells you locations and prices.

If you look at Google maps you can also search for nearby gas stations. The RaceTrac looks to be closest, just beyond the Hertz
The Race Trac is very easy to access, and competitively priced. There aren’t a lot of convenient gas stations right in that vicinity, although there are a few as you head south towards Cocoa Beach. Coming across the Beachline, there really aren’t any convenient stops once you leave Orlando until you get to the Race Trac.

Just my opinion, but I think within 10-15 miles of the return location is more appropriate. 10-15 miles should be ~ 1/2 a gallon of gas or less. 50 miles would be over a gallon.

IMO, leaving the tank just barely on full does nothing but harm the next guest.

the RACETRAC just outside of the port is easy to get to and has never 'price gouged' in the 15+ years I've lived here.

it i less than 5 miles from all the Port C rental places ... less than a mile from most.
