I know this has probably been asked a million times, but since
the search feature has been turned off here it goes again:

I am driving myself to the port and am wondering what is the
best time to show up. I'll have two little ones with me and don't
want to having them waiting in line any longer then need be, but
at the same time I would like to board as early as possible. Any
ideas?

Also, I don't have the ground transfers, but my cruise papers
included baggage tags. Do I need to put these on my luggage?
I would assume so since they will still need them to get our
bags to the proper room, but figured I would check anyway.

You do need to put the baggage tags on your luggage. When you arrive at the port, you will check your bags with a porter and they will take it from there. You don't need to actually carry them into the terminal.

The terminal opens at 10:30, I think. Boarding usually begins at about 12:15. I would say that the line is pretty long by about 11:30, so you'd have to judge how much time you want to wait in the terminal vs. how soon you want to get on the ship. The line does move pretty quickly once they begin boarding.

I'd say try to get there around 11:00am, by the time you park and check in, your wait in line shouldn't be too bad. There are characters in the terminal to help entertain the kids while they wait in line.
