port arrival time changed-help!

Hi all! We are heading out on the Fantasy from Port Canaveral on March 10th. I did online check in at 12:01am yesterday and entered Cash and driving to the port for ease of online check in. I got PAT of 11:15 and 11:30 for our rooms with BG 5 and 6. Today I went and changed our form of payment and put in our flights. However my husband and daughters PAT is now 12:45 and they are BG 17!? I have no idea what happened. I still have copies that I printed out showing BG 5 for them. What can/should I do?? other earlier available for PAT. Should we just show up together with the printed forms at 11:30?

They scan your QR code on the form so I would just arrive with that. Same for the boarding group that is what they look at. I would look close to be sure the QR code on their second PAT is different though.

I’ve seen other similar posts of that happening. I always print my pat now just in case it happened to me. The dcl website is glitchy. I would take your original print pat. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing.

If your reservation is linked, ask at the port if they can align you. We had boarding group 17 and our friends (who were driving all of us there) had 5. We asked as we checked in and they changed ours to 5 so that we could board together. They don't guarantee that they'll do this but it is mentioned on the PAT page that if you have this situation, they'll do their best to board you together (implying earlier of the two PATs).

Hi!! We just found out we're in the same boat! Curious if they gave you a hard time? We had a change to our port transportation and they made us re-check in. Now our PAT changed from 12p to 145p I also have my old paperwork but we're not traveling with any other parties. Fingers crossed we can still arrive at 12! Thank you!

That's lousy. Just curious...what did you change your port transportation from & to? When do you said?

Did you previously have DCL Transfers booked? And now doing private transportation? If so, they may not honor the earlier PAT since that was obtained via DCL Transfers. I'm curious what other change might require you to re-do the check-in.

We obtained our initial PAT of 12 when we had our own transportation (checked in 33 days before cruise bc we're silver members). Then we added DCL transportation. It didn't make us check in again. Then this week, our travel plans changed (flying in a day earlier due to flight canceled) so we're renting a car. So I guess when I canceled my DCL transportation, it triggered something and I didn't even notice we had to check in again until my husband saw that our check in wasn't complete. I didn't even get an email, etc so luckily he saw it so I checked in again last night (sailing Aug 9)

You guessed correctly. But if you had rechecked your registration when you booked DCL, you probably would have seen a new PAT.

You can check again before cruising to see if an earlier option becomes available. Just looking doesn’t change your assigned time.

And don’t forget that people report Open Boarding before that assigned 1:45 slot.

While we didn’t have our PAT change, our BG changed from 3 to 6. When we checked in at the port, the CM said to go with what we had printed on our document (BG 3). We had no problem as they only looked at our document for the BG. I’d guess that they’ll go with your paperwork and override the system if necessary.

Thank you for this! I think we're gonna go at our initial time and worse comes to worse, we'll just hang out and see if the lines move faster, etc. Will report back on what actually happens lol

Just got on the ship with no problem at my original PAT of 12p! I do think my boarding group changed (paper said 12 but I think she said 27?) Nevertheless, by the time we got upstairs to the terminal after check in, they were boarding all groups. Got on by 1230!
