PORS Which area should I request my room?

Is there a spot that I should request my room? Does anyone know which ones sleep 5 (trunndle bed)? I see that they have 2 totally differenttypes of hotel rooms at this resort. Both look nice but I am looking for that DIS'er approval on which is the better!

Love 'em both. I've stayed in both the Mansion section of Magnolia Bend and in Alligator Bayou. Alligator Bayou will offer you the trundly bed. Magnolia Bend is more formal. We are hoping for Alligator Bayou in June.

I'm not sure if this is true, so I would call POR directly to ask, but it's my understanding that both sections are now offering the trundle beds. I do know, that despite what some people have been told, the mansions sections will let you have 5 in a room. They just use a rollaway bed if the room doesn't have a trundle.

Unless it has changed in the last few months, only the Alligator Bayou sections have trundle beds. I think the mansion rooms would be very uncomfortable with a roll away cot--at 314 sq. ft., the rooms just aren't that large!
