For 3 adults, a 6 year old girl & 11 month old, which resort would be nicer? The planned trip is January.

Both will be crowded.
POFQ is my favorite Mod, I will never return to CBR

POFQ......much smaller, sometimes bus goes right to the park without sharing with POR, brand new food court

We've never stayed at POFQ, but we loved everything about CBR and wouldn't hesitate to return. With that said, I would choose the one that the theme/decor, size, etc appeals to you the most. Good luck.

You will definitely get different responses. For me, I hate POFQ. I think that the decorations are tacky and that it looks like the Mardis Gras section of Walmart threw up on a Motel 6. The size is nice, though. I love Caribbean Beach. My six-year-old loved playing at Caribbean Cay and the pool. She also really enjoyed walking around the grounds. Oh, and she loved spending time in the food court with the fun music and decoration. You will also most likely have the luxury of a murphy bed that pulls out from under the television so each of your kids could have their own bed or, if all of you are going to stay in one room, you will have the luxury of another sleeping area. It's an absolutely huge resort, though, which can be a pain. Personally, I'd absolutely pick Caribbean Beach just for the better theme and more beds.

I strongly dislike CBR and wouldn't hesitate to return to POFQ, POFQ is much smaller, has 1 bus stop compared to 7 at CSR, and I liked the food court better.

POFQ, and it isn't even close. CBR is the only Disney resort at which I've stayed that I would not stay at again. POFQ is small and quiet, and the water taxi to DS is a lot of fun. I would like to stay there again someday.

I agree with most people I prefer POR vs POFQ but CBR is in our list of must avoid resorts. It is last in my list of moderates and bottom 2 in my list of Disney resorts.

AMEN! I love CBR. For personal reasons, anything with a New Orleans theme gives me nightmares, so for me, staying there would ruin a trip.

But the concept of not liking it is anathema to many on this board. So I am not surprised people are overwhelmingly saying stay there.

Just got back from 10 nights at CBR. Loved it! Just a nice resort. The food court is so-so but we rarely ate there. Beautiful grounds and our room was very nice. Buses were excellent 99% of the time. Less than 10 minutes wait most of the time. Only 1 bad time in 10 days where there was no bus to AK for close to an hour but I've had that happen at other resorts as well. Loved staying at Jamaica. First on to parks so can get a seat in the morning, and first off from the parks was really nice after a late night.
