I make the same type of pork chops every time I make them. I dip them in italian salad dressing, bread them and then bake them. I am sick of it. Anyone have any good (easy) pork chop recipes?

I posted this in a thread last week, but here it is again; pretty easy and very tasty!

Fruit Stuffed Pork Chops

Combine dried mixed fruit (raisins, cranberries, cherries, blueberries) with a fruit-based grilling sauce to moisten. (I have used ginger plum, mango, and raspberry chipotle sauces; all work well.) Cut a slit in the side of thick-cut pork chops and stuff with fruit/sauce mix. Place in lightly greased baking pan and bake in 350-degree oven for 45 minutes, browning for 5 minutes under broiler if desired.

do you have a crockpot? if so, layer butter, apples cut up, cinnamon and porkchops - yummy!

I found this recipe orginally on allrecipes.com, but I modified it just a little bit...we serve it with rice...

Tomato Pork Chops

4 pork chops
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper – chopped, your color choice
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste

1. Heat enough to oil to just cover the bottom of a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the pork chops to the pan and brown well on both sides. Remove chops and set aside.
2. Add the onion and bell pepper and sauté for 5 minutes, or until almost tender. Pour in the tomato sauce. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Return chops to the pan and allow the sauce to start bubbling and then reduce heat to low.
3. Simmer for 30 minutes.

I don't have an *official recipe for this.
I will take pork chops, cut a green pepper in rings
place a ring on top of each chop
Stuff ring with premade stuffing
pour canned gravy over them and bake for 45 minutes

I bake them in the oven with two cut up onions and a tiny amount of olive oil; when the porkchops and onions turn brown, add sauerkraut and a few carraway seeds - heat thru. Serve with applesauce. (you can do rice and beans or potatoes and veggies on the side).

Or

brown them with onions in a pan on top of the stove; add a can of pears, cut in small pieces, and balsamic vinegar. Sounds strange, but it is delicious.

I just bread them in a mixture of bread crumbs, parmasian cheese, sage, thyme and a bit of garlic powder. Dip the chop in flour, then egg, then bread mixture, and bake. Yum!

Good basic pork chops...my mom's way!

(These are the moistest (is that a word?) and most tender chops you’ll ever eat – and SO easy!)

Use ½-inch to 1-inch thick pork chops.

Soak chops in milk for a few minutes.

Dredge chops in seasoned breadcrumbs (store bought) with a little cracked pepper or steak seasoning mixed in.

Brown chops quickly on both sides in a very large, shallow skillet in a small amount of oil.

Add one cup of very hot water. Bring to a boil.

Cover the skillet with a tight-fitting lid and reduce the heat to a slow simmer.

Simmer for 30 minutes.

:cloud9:

I also must confess to having a Liking for Shake n Bake.I I don't have that I will put Mustard on a chop and dredge it in breadcrubs..Place in oven pan and spray some Pam on them(so they get crispy)

We grill ours. Armour makes a powdered - type rub which makes pork incredibly juicy. I find it near the meat counter in a red package. Cover the chop with the rub and grill. Couldn't be easier.

learned this from my grandmother and making them tonight:

Season pork chops with garlic powder and brown the chops in a pan, then cut the chops into small pieces.

Chop up an onion and saute in the same pan you used to brown the chops

Add the cup up pork into the pan with the onions, add 2 cups of water and simmer for about 20 minutes.

combine equal amounts of corn starch and water and add to the pan of pork/onions to thicken the gravy

Serve over cooked rice

It is so good! Of course, it is always served with applesauce on the side ~ what's pork chops without the applesauce?

My DH's favorite is when I put kraut in the bottom of a baking pan and just put chops that have been salt and peppered on top, cover with foil and bake.
We have mashed potatoes with it. DH doesn't normally like kraut but he loves it when pork has been cooked with it.

I'll also confess to being a shake n bake lover! My kids like the BBQ glaze one on boneless chops.

The easiest possible way to make pork chops is to brown them in a skillet. Mix 1 large can of mushroom soup with 1/2 can of milk or water. Pour that over the browned chops. Cover and simmer. The longer you simmer the more tender they are. Serve with stuffing, rice or mashed potatoes and use the soup for gravy.

This came out of Bon Appétit several years ago & has become a favorite at our house. It's quick and easy. I've made it with other flavors of jelly instead of the cranberries, white grape juice instead of wine (when pregnant), veg. oil instead of butter, and dried thyme when I didn't have fresh, and have skipped the green onions sometimes. It's always good.

2 tablespoon butter
4 5- to 6-ounce boneless pork chops
2/3 cup dry white wine
2/3 cup cranberry sauce
6 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme

Melt butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Sauté pork until brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer pork to plate. Add wine to same skillet. Bring to simmer, scraping up browned bits in bottom of pan. Stir in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until slightly reduced, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Season sauce to taste with salt and pepper. Return pork and any juices to skillet. Cook until heated through, about 1 minute. Transfer pork to plates. Spoon sauce over and serve.

Here's one that my family loves - quick & easy!
Pork Chop & Apple Casserole
Mix 1/3 cup sugar, 2T flour, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1/8 tsp nutmeg in 9 x 13 pan. Add 4 cups sliced, peeled apples. Toss to mix.

Coat pork chops with Shake & Bake. Place over apples and bake at 425 deg for 35 min. YUM

I do a variation of this. Brown the pork chops and place in a 9x13 pan. Place a thinly sliced onion over the top and a can of drained, sliced mushrooms. Pour the mushroom soup over the top and then sprinkle a bit of onion soup mix on top. Bake at 375 for half hour to 45 minutes depending on the thickness of the chops. Serve with mashed potatos or noodles. Just made this last night.

Here's another one of my family's favorites that is just SO easy:

Brown pork chops in a skillet. Add about 4 or 5 peeled, diced potatos, one onion cut into wedges, and one red pepper cut into thin slices. Add 1 can low sodium beef broth and a bit of onion soup mix. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. They're so moist this way and the veggies have a great flavor. I vary the veggies depending on what I have at any given time.

It's easy to prepare and smells so good while cooking. Add a salad and some type bread and you've got a nice, quick meal.

Pork Chop Potato Bake Casserole

Brown pork chops in a small amount of oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a large bowl combine potatoes, soup, milk, sour cream, 1/2 cup shredded cheese, and half of the fried onions. My family loves Pork Chops, so I have some really good recipes. Here are just a couple.

Lemon Pork Chops

4 bone-in pork loin chops
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1 medium onion, cut into 1/4 inch slices
1/4 C. packed brown sugar
1/4 C. ketchup

Place the pork chops in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with the salt and lemon pepper. Top with onion. Sprinkle with brown sugar; drizzle with ketchup (I usually combine the sugar and ketchup to make a sauce and then drizzle it). Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until meat juices run clear.

Baked Chops and Fries

6 bone-in pork loin chops
1 Tbs. olive or vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 jar (8 oz) process cheese sauce
1/2 C. milk
4 C. cottage or steak fries
1 can french-fried onions, divided
1 pkg. frozen broccoli

In a large skillet, brown chops in oil; sprinkle with seasoned salt.. In a bowl, combine the cheese sauce and milk until blended; spread into a greased 9 X 13 baking dish. Top with cottage fries and half of the onions. Arrange broccoli and pork chops over the top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkl with remaining onions. Bake 10 minutes longer or until meat is no longer pink and the broccoli is tender.

Pork chops tonight here too. Shake N Bake- then topped with stuffing. Maybe some mashed potato and then some green beans almondine!
