Porgs on board

During our cruise last week, which was a star wars at sea cruise on the Fantasy.............I kept noticing these Porgs on peoples shoulders walking around the boat. I took a quick peek in the gift shop and didnt see any of them for sale. A day or two went buy and I didnt think much more about them but then I heard an announcement that the only way to get them was to go to the DVC presentation while on board.

So if you are in the market for a free Porg....................that is where you need to go to get them while on the ship.

So if you are in the market for a free Porg....................that is where you need to go to get them while on the ship.

That is correct. If you are a non dvc member its one per stateroom if you go a presentation in the D Lounge. If you are a DVC member you have to make an actual appointment to speak to the guide and then it is still one per stateroom.

We went to the presentation and got our Porg...very cute with a magnetic feature that lets it sit on your shoulder. I placed ours in the porthole looking out at everyone....and to recognize our room from outside the ship.

We went to the DVC presentation last week and got one of these. Note that the price tag was still attached and is sold for $19.99. As it's magnetic, our stateroom host had it hanging off the wall. I didn't realize that all of the walls in the cabin are magnetic! Now that we're home, it's living on our refrigerator.

There are available for sale at the parks too, if you still want one. At least they are at Disneyland, I'm sure WDW has them too.

Can confirm they are sold at WDW. I was staring at one baffled at how they stay on your shoulder.

We were at Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland in December and they had them and a bunch of other Star Wars critters in the stores in that area. Took the Smuggler's Run simulator ride (awesome) while the line was short during the parade on Main St. When we came out of the building, next to the Millennium Falcon, the fireworks went off just behind the "mountains." I thought we were under attack and was looking for Chewie for help. The detail in that "land" is incredible...not to be missed.

We realized this and I had my daughters Porgs hanging from the ceiling and on the walls by their bunk beds. The stateroom host got into the fun and started placing the porgs hanging around the room lol
