POR Waterview.....

Is there a specific building for the waterview rooms at POR and what exactly is the view of?

POR waterviews can be of the river or a quiet pool. We have had two waterviews so far and I really wasn't happy with them. At least not when paying the extra for the view. In AB we had a view of a very nice quiet pool, shaped like MM. In Magnolia Terrace, we had a 'view' of the river. You had to actually be out on the walkway (outside corridor), lean over the rail and get a peek at the Sassagoula River!! From inside both of these rooms you could not see any water.

We are going back in June and I have not asked for a water view room. Yes, some of the rooms have much better water views than others but I'm not taking the chance again. Even the rooms that face the parking lots aren't all that bad.

I've heard that the second floor of building 27 has nice river views.
