I was just contacted by my TA that there is a vacation discount for the dates that I will be going. Unfortunately it does not apply to POR but to a cabin at FW. We are a family of 5(3, 6 year olds) and we are on the DP.....If we switch to the cabins it will be $300 more for our trip. Is it worth it? This is our first trip....
Please help!!!!
Thank you!

You will definitely have more room, but the FW cabins are very spread out, it is alot of walking, but you could rent a golf cart for the time you are there, providing there is availability.

We are not planning on spending alot of time in the room, and reneting a golf cart= more$$$....

Thanks for your imput!

There are some nice things about the cabins, but theming is not Disneyesque. you'll probably enjoy POR more. Golfcarts are VERY expensive. Have fun.

If you enjoy the camping type feeling, FW is awesome. There are movies at night for the kids, campfires. Also, if you are planning on eating every meal out there can be the savings of making your own breakfast before you go out. You can look around the boards for the places you can order groceries from and have them delivered. That being said if you want the all Disney feeling all of the time POR is better for that. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
