POR to DTD hotels

Hi, we usually rent a car from the Dolphin and Alamo. This trip I haven't been able to get a reasonable rate with them, so I have booked with Avis in the Hilton in DTD. Today I saw a cheaper rate with Dollar in the Wyndam on Hotel Plaza Blvd. In all our past trips we have never bothered to go to DTD , so I am unfamiliar with the layout. If we take the boat from POR to DTD is it fairly close to get to the hotels? Is there more than one boat stop?

The boat will take you to DTD at the Marketplace section of DTD--think it stops at PO-FQ first. From there, you can walk across Buena Vista DR to Hotel Plaza Blvd. The Wyndham is on the left as you walk up the road.

Did you check the rates at Alamo at the Disney Car Care Center? They offer a free shuttle to/from your resort during business hours.

Thank you, but I did check Alamo both locations. They keep coming in at $60 higher than Avis no matter what combination of coupons or codes I use. We are finishing our trip at the Boardwalk Inn so the Dolphin would have been an easy return location.
