I was very skeptical of this resort, but I fell in love with it. I love the grounds of this resort and I walked them every night. Its very peaceful. There was very little noise. We stayed at the AB building 37 on the second floor. I guess my only complaint was, when they cut down a tree at 8:00 in the morning. But that was only one day of our 6 day stay. The other guest around us were very friendly. I met people from England, Scotland and Austraila. Its a beautiful resort. The beds are kind of small, but the trundal worked out great for us. I would of stayed at a value, but there were 5 in our party. I am glad I was forced to go up a notch.
Mousekeeping was great. I only used them 3 nights of our stay.
I will be going again next year and depending on how rooms work out. I may end up at POR again and I won't complain.
OH check in was a nightmare. There were only 3 windows open and about 50 of us in line. The line was out the door. After a 1/2 hour they finally opened about 6 more windows and things moved a little quicker. They also gave me another families tickets and when I realized I looked at the line and decided I wasn't waiting again and went back to my agents window and politely made my way to her and told her of the error. That is really my only complaint and the rude attendents for boatrights. I just went ahead to the food court instead of eating there.
The food court the last night we were there, had construction workers tearing up the floor and it was extremely noisey. I thought it should of been done after they closed for the night.

At Epcot, my son lost his fan. I didn't think there was anyway we would get it back. Went to guest relations just to see if there was anything they could do and they gave him a new one. I thought that was so very sweet.
We were also lucky weather wise, half the trip the weather was really nice and the other half was extremely muggy. Only had one day where the rain effected our day, but we just made it all up that evening.
I highly recommend Fantasmic at MGM. That was a very impressive show.
Thanks for letting me rattle.

I am still the biggest Magic Kingdom fan. I am so amazed how well its run.
