POR RS-Views

I just booked PORRS for 12/12-12/14 AAA discount-standard view
Does the view make a big diffrence?
My only choice was PORRS OR CB

Honestly, any view you get at the mods has a hallway in between, so you don't see much of the water.

I've stayed at POR twice and never paid extra for an upgraded view. Our rooms both times were fabulous, and looked out into some bushes and plants. I've never really understood paying more for a view anyway, since we don't spend many daylight hours in the room. Now maybe if I were staying in the Contemporary and had the opportunity to see the castle and fireworks from my room I would pay more, but most moderates have similar views whether you pay for a water view or not. Also, you'll get to see plenty of the resort's scenery on your walks to and from the food court and bus stops. I wouldn't worry too much about the view!
