POR Review

Couple of ???

How was the trundle bed? While looking at some pics. it seems big enough for my DD3, but doesn't look too comfortable, how did you find it?

While it does fit a family of 5, in all honesty...how does a family of 5 really fit in one room here? Did you feel cramped?

We were also at POR recently - last month. We're a family of 5; my kids 11, 8 and 6. My son (11) slept in the trundle and didn't seem to have a problem with it. My only complaint were the pillows - they were the overstuffed, firm kind. But that's just a preference issue. Apparently, my son didn't like them too well either and that kinda interfered with his sleep a bit.

Did we feel cramped? I guess you could say we did - we have a 5 bedroom large house. But it wasn't unbearable and we were able to manage bathroom time by planning ahead. We spent so much time at parks that we weren't in the room long enough to get on each others nerves.

I have to say that I truly enjoyed my children's company during our vacation - even in cramped quarters. They're old enough now that we all go our separate ways at home - my son to the video games, my husband or myself on the computer, my daughters playing in their rooms or watching t.v. So having this kind of family time was kinda nice...intimate, but not at all unpleasant.

BTW - All of our luggage bags fit under the bed. I was a little concerned because that alone take up quite a bit of space, but I was able to fit a bag or two inside the larger bags, then slide them under the very high bed.
