POR Restaurant Closing????

I just read on the resort board that the sit down restauarant at POR is closing in Feb. Is this true???

Would appreciate a link to the thread. If you are looking at an older thread, it may refer to the fact that Boatwrights was closed for breakfast as of February 2009 (it continues to serve dinner). I couldn't see any thread on the first two pages of the resort board about Boatwrights being closed, nor am I aware of any plans to close it for renovation or any other reason in 2010.

There's also no information about where they got the idea it was closing, and I know I haven't seen it anywhere. That would leave POR without any table service restaurant at all, but it may be possible Disney thinks they don't need one since the one they have is only open for dinner and I doubt it's packing them in. But there's currently no way to confirm what's on that thread.

Surely not. Then there would be no TS restaurants at any of the Port Orleans resorts. The poster who said Boatwrights was closing was only on
their 3rd post ever so maybe they didn't know for sure. Maybe you could call
Disney dining and see if they know. I personally would not want to book a resort and then find out later they had no TS restaurant. Hopefully someone
can find out the facts for us and report back.
