POR-refurb ?

I read on another site that Port Orleans Riverside is currently under going a refurbishment? Can someone confirm that for me? When we visited 11/03 they were working on the French Quarter.

If they are refurbishing now what's been completed? We stayed in the Oak Manor and hope to get lucky and get a room in the mansions again.

Will the refurbishment have any affect on our stay at POR? We are booked for the week of 4/25.

The FQ was finished in early 2004. Riverside is currently being done. All the Mansions have been completed as have AB lodges # 20 and up. They are currently working on lodges 14, 15, 16.

Thanks. I hope we get a room that was refurbished. We stayed there in 2003 and had a room in Oak Mansion....hope to stay there again.

Have you stayed in the AB rooms? How are they?
