POR Questions

Since this will be our first stay at POR I have a few questions. We have opted for using a towncar service for this trip so when they drop us off at our resort we of course will have our luggage. Just wondering if it works the same way as it did at CBR, after checking in does bell hop services escort you to your room? We took a little van that took us directly to our room at CBR so I was hoping this is the way it works at POR. Thanks for the help

Although we would have loved it, we didn't have an escort to our room. They will take your bags for you and deliver the bags to your room later so that you are free to enjoy the parks once you arrive. As for the other, I don't think they do that. I could be wrong though. Anybody else?

When we checked in two years ago, we dropped our bags with bell services. Our room was ready (it was 7:30 am) and we went back out to bell services to tell them it was ready. They then put us in a golf cart with our luggage and drove us to our room. I suppose we could have gone to our room and then called for our bags, but we were heading out to a park and since the room was ready, it seemed better to store our bags in the room and not have to worry about getting them later.

When we were at POR we had our car but we saw the bellmen bringing families with their luggage all over the resort.

You'll have to call for them or ask for it at the check in desk. We drove and once we found our rooms, we called and he met us at our room and drove the cart to our van and took all our luggage back to the room. Would of taken us forever so it was well worth it.

We have been driven to the room with our luggage both times we have arrived at POR. This was before the Magic Express stuff. When I went in August, we stayed at ASMo and bell services were delivering luggage to different rooms.
