1- Do all rooms come with refrigerators and coffee makers?

2- Is the frig large enough to put a gallon of milk in there?

3- What size are the beds in AB? They look small and I'm just hoping that they will be comfortable enough.

4- How are the busses at POR? Is POFQ first be picked up or is POR?

5- As POR guests, can we use POFQ pools?

Thanks everyone!!

I can only respond based on the extensive (!) reading I have done on the disboards in preparation for our trip to POR in May...

1. Yes
2. Yes, if you take the shelf out
3. Double. I have read they are quite high off the floor (probably so the trundle will fit) I'm referring to the AB section.
4. Not sure. I think POFQ gets picked up first. Anyone???
5. Yes, and we plan to! I hear it is just as quick, or quicker, to walk over to POFQ than to take the boat.

When we stayed at POR in January, our room had a refrig and a coffee maker, If you take out the shelf you could fit a gallon of milk, but it would take up most of the refrig. The beds are double. Our baby ended up between Dh and I during the night, it was a tight squeeze, but we survived. We didn't use a bus, we used our own car. The bus stop was far from our room. As for the pools, you can use any of the quiet or theme pools at either POR or POFQ.

I think the double beds are a little small, but I guess it depends on what you're used to. Also, I can't remember if the bus hits POFQ or POR first, but it never seems like a very long wait to me. There are lots of stops, making it very convenient no matter where your room is. Compared to other resorts, I think the buses work smoothest at PO.

Have a great trip!

Lovethattink-which building did you stay in? We'll be at POR for first time in April and have made a building request (27), Just curious to know which one you were in since you were far from a bus stop.
Thanks

We got back from seven nights at the FQ last Saturday and our buses ran as follows...
To AK: Start at FQ, then go to four POR stops, then to Blizzard Beach, then to park. On the return from the park, we stopped at BB, then to FQ first.

To MGM: Start at FQ and stop at four POR stops, then to park. On the return, to FQ first.

To EPCOT: Start at FQ then to four POR stops, then to park. On return, to FQ first, although on one occasion, the driver stopped at the four POR stops before going to FQ.

To MK: Dedicated bus. Straight from FQ stop to park.

MK has bus stops for POR and POFQ. All the other parks have one stop for "Port Orleans."

You can also take a boat to downtown disney.

Hope this helps.
