POR question - leaving in three days

do all rooms have frig's now? I had read some time ago that a person had requested one way back in January and didn't get one when they went in Sept. We are leaving Sat and I sure hope we can get a frig. Thanks!

From what I understand they are still working on the refurbishments of POR. So some, possibly most, but not all of the rooms have fridges. I'm sorry to be so vague, I hope somebody that has recently been there can jump in and give a better answer. I hope you have a great time on your trip!!

Someone posted here recently that a lot of the rooms now have them, but if you end up in a room without a frig you can call housekeeping and they will bring one up to your room.

My room had it last week when i was there.

We stayed in Oct. and there was no fridge in the room when we got there, (around 5pm) so I called housekeeping and when we came back late at night it was already there, no aditional charge, so if it's not in your room already just call housekeeping....

I called today because I just booked our Feb. trip and the lady at the front desk at POR said all the renovations are all done. So I would think that the fridges are in and the rooms are all done.




I hope this is true.

We just returned in mid October and our room did not have one and I called the front desk and they sent one right over with no charge. However, I did see a large truck in the parking lot and they were unloading new fridges. So it could be possible that all rooms have them by now.

we had one in the mansions too in october. it sounded like most rooms have them now. they are so convenient!

we saw lots of trucks delivering fridges last week - we didn't have one but housekeeping brought it over when we rang.

We left AB 10 days ago and most of the rooms did not have the new bedspreads/curtains in them yet - our room did but it was one of the only buildings that seemed to have been done (building 24)
