POR Questins

I have heard a couple of things about Port Orleans River that I would like more details on.

1) The resort is spread out. How long does your normal walk to the bus, parking lot, and boat take?

2) There is a boat that takes you from POR to downtown disney. How long is the boat ride and how often does it run? Are you usually able to get on the next boat?

Hi, We have stayed at POR several times. If you request certain bldgs (14,15,17,18 or 27) you will be fine. I'm not sure about requests in the Mansion section as we always stay in the Bayou. The walk from these bldgs to the pool, bus stop, food court is about 3-5 min. As for the boat ride, I think it takes about 15-20 min to get to DD and they have boats running about every 20 min. It is a very nice, relaxing ride.

We really love POR, it is so beautiful and they have several pools, so if the main pool is crowded there are other choices.
