Hiya :wave2:

Myself, DH, DS16 and DD12 are travelling to the world in November. We're currently booked at POR-preferred room. I, like everyone else, am trying for FD or RO, but POR is not playing along

Having only been to WDW one other time (stayed at CR), I'm looking for opinions :thumbsup2

Our options (for now) are to stay with POR-preferred (rack rate, MYW+dining) or for a couple hundred dollars less, stay at WL with free dining.

We seem to be limited in resort options (without paying an arm and leg), as we must have 3 beds....at least, if we want a pleasant vacation! Because, there's no way a vacation with DS16, sharing a bed with DD12, ends well :rotfl:

Anyone care to share their thoughts/opinions on my options? Or suggest other options?

TIA!

WL for sure :thumbsup2. If you can get a deluxe resort with FD for less than a moderate with dining, there wouldn't be any question for me. The WL is an amazing resort, the rooms are a little larger than the mods, and the location is great as it's a short boat ride to MK as well as to the CR for a variety of dining and shopping options. I would go with FD at the WL and not look back :goodvibes.

Agree....having the bunk beds are nice. My kids are smaller .... 7 and 13 but they would fight crazy if they had to share a bed. So bunk beds resolve that!!!

And WL is an amazing resort!! We will be there for 2nd time first week of December and we got a FD pin mailed to us

The only problem with the bunk beds and murphy beds are their size. I think that POR would be better because if your 16 year old ds is taller than 5' 3" or so he wont fit comfortably in the bunks at WL. At POR the murphy bed is about the same size as the bunk beds, so your DD might fit on it and then your DS would have a full size bed.

Let's see, you get a deluxe resort, separate beds for the teens, free dining and it costs you less money than POR! Was there a question in there? Of course, go with the WL. It is a fantastic resort. :goodvibes
