We have a ressie for POR. WE would like oppinions if we should switch over to POFQ. We have stayed at FQ and never at POR. We wanted to go back to the FQ from the start but then after they were closed talked ouselves into the Riverside. We thought it would be something different to try. Well.....now that the FQ is going to be open we can't decide what to do. I have read that the rooms are not kept very clean at the Riverside and the FQ will be brand spanky new! We also like how small and close to everything we were at the FQ. What do you think?? Thanks for any help provided!

I havenever stayed at POFQ but I have stayed at Riverside. I thought it was beautiful and I was not dissapointed in the least. Well, actually I was, but only because we had to go home and I wanted to stay.

Why don't you keep your reservation as it is. Keep an open mind and let the relaxing atmosphere (sp?) take over you.

ENJOY!!

We've stayed at both- stayed in the mansion side of POR. While we liked POR, POFQ is still our favorite. We like the compactness of the resort. We had a pretty good location at POR- Magnolia Terrace- but the walk to the food court and bus stop was much longer than the one from most buildings at POFQ. We didn't like how spread out POR was- our building was pretty close, but some were very far away!
The theming at both resorts is beautiful- POR's mansions was very pretty! The food courts were about the same to us- except beignets weren't at POR!
It depends on what is important to your family. Walking is an issue for some members of my family, so POFQ is better for us.
Good luck! You won't go wrong either way!

I've stayed at both and I would definitely choose POFQ. I really like how it is not so tremendous a resort as POR. Also, when we stayed at POFQ we noticed that the buses stopped at POFQ 1st and then went to POR. So we were always able to get a seat. There are just so many sections of rooms that look alike at POR, it drives me crazy looking for your room. If you ever get sick of food court at POFQ, you can always walk over to Riverside's. We did that when friends of ours were staying there and we were at POFQ. Whatever you decide, it will be great!

Have Fun!
