We will be there for 10 nights - Dec. 10th-24th, just me and my son (age 4.5). We are currently booked at Riverside with an AP rate, but I just called and we can get the Dolphin with the teacher's discount for all 10 nights for just an extra $200 or so.

I've never stayed at the Dolphin, but being in the Boardwalk area really appeals to me, as does being within such easy distance of MGM and Epcot. We love Epcot and spend lots of time there, especially during the holidays.

We will have a rental car available, so transportation isn't an issue at either.

I don't really care about not having Mickey soaps or a Mickey wake-up call.

So, any thoughts? What would you do? Right now, I have both reserved. I just need to decide which one to cancel.

Definitely the Dolphin! We have been at Christmas time and the xmas tree in the foyer is amazing, it even has a train running round the bottom of it. If you go to www.swandolphin.com you may find some xmas info on there, they have all kinds of activities going on. We love the Dolphin for it's large rooms, great eateries, location, boat transportation and fantastic pools and beach area. :)

Yes, I agree, the Dolphin or Swan!

For safety, I like INTERIOR CORRIDORS.

Plus, room service has kids' menus, and on demand movies

Thanks. I was leaning toward the Dolphin in a big way, but I wanted to hear other's opinions.

The interior corridors don't matter to me, but the appeal of being in the Epcot/Boardwalk area at Christmas is a very, very big draw!

Other thoughts?
