We have ASMo booked with AAA discount right now. We only have 2 nights there, one we are doing the MVMCP. The other, we have all day Monday and I plan on taking the kids to view the Christmas decorations at other resorts and also to DtD to go to legoworld and their shopping. Then we head out at 8am on Tuesday. Which transportation is better, esp for the MVMCP... POR or ASMo? The kids are 10, 9, 6 and 4 and yes, we have 2 rooms

And since I had to pay for a preferred room at ASMo, the difference is only $40 per room

I have stayed at a value and a mod, and I can tell you that the transportation wasn't much different between the 2. If this is just a quick trip to get to go to MVMCP, I would just stay where you are.

That way you can spend a little more $$$ on the party souveniers... :thumbsup2

Yes it is.. its just a quick trip since I originally booked 10 nights at Disney and bought tickets to the MVMCP and the kids got jealous of DH's and I cruise in August and they wanted to cruise. So we switched to 1n in FLL, 7n cruise and 2n Disney. I hated not using $250 MVMCP tickets so I HAD to add in at least 2n to do it!

If it were me, I'd rather 2 rooms at the Allstar Music than 1 room at the POR.
The room size is not that significant, and I have found the buses at the Allstar resorts to be great.
The times that I have stayed at the POFQ, I felt sorry for the people at the POR as they were the last to be picked up and the last to be dropped off. Quite a few times the buses would fill up at the POFQ and the driver had to call for another bus to go to the POR.
I know that the Allstar Movies is the last resort in the pick up and drop off for the Allstar resorts, but it seemed that generally they had their own bus while the Allstar Music and Sports shared more often than not. Except when the parks were closing then each resort had its own bus.
Time wise they are both probably about the same for the travel to the MK. I'd stick with the reservation at the Allstar Movies

You'd be crazy not to switch to a moderate over one of the All-Stars. The transportation is better along with the entire resort. I'd definitely switch.

I think you should stay put. Why pay for a mod, when you won't be able to enjoy the extras? Other than the bus stops being a little further out, I have found the All-Star resorts transportation to be as good as the more expensive resorts. (I have stayed at Movies and Music once each, Sports twice) Have fun!:wizard:
