We have reserv. at the POR for 6 nights in March. We stayed at CBR the last 2 times we were in WDW but this time our youngest will be 4 1/2 and she can't be in a crib anymore so we have to go to POR for the trundle or get 2 AS rooms. With the codes (which may not be available after today anyway) I can get 2 AS rooms for only $175 more than the POR room. I've seen some negative things about the POR in the last couple days and a I'm getting nervous now so I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone tell me pros and cons to each option? Thanks so much for your help.

Beckygeez - I have been trying to make the exact same choice and there are some excellent threads further down. I had heard very negative things about POR and was ready to change my ressies but after some very nice people took the time to give me their input I'm feeling much better. It seems that the positive reports far outnumber the bad ones. There are some excellent pictures of Alligator Bayou on www.wdwig.com. After seeing the beautifully landscaped grounds and the river with the boat that you can take to DTD I decided to stick with my reservation. I wasn't too thrilled with the room pictures when I first saw them but I was not really thinking of the theme of the resort.

I've also read that they have campfires at night and sell s'mores fixings for $5. That sounds fun to me!!

I think you'll be fine at POR.
