We're staying at POR for the first time. We want to stay in the Magnolia Bend section. All of the mansions look beautiful. Not really concerned with location (We're on the DP and need the extra walking). Any favorites? I've heard some of the mansions have been refurbished more recently than others. 33 days and counting! :cool1:

Thanks so much for your post. My daughter (17) and I have gone to Disney every other year since she was 7yo. We've stayed at All Star sports every year but one. Stayed ay CBR that year. I've heard great things about the POR. Thought the mansions would be better for my daughter. Old South elegance over the AB motif. Seems like it just depends on the room as far as which building to choose. Maybe I'll just roll the dice and let them pick it for me. Thanks again for the awesome post/photos!

I did a solo trip a couple of weeks ago. I stayed in Magnolia Bend area. I was in the Magnolia Terrace Building.

It was convenient to the parking lot and bus stop East Depot.

It was short walk to the pool and a bit longer to the food court.

I enjoyed the Magnolia Bend section much better than I would have the AB section (I walked around the resort one afternoon).
